Tool Brings 2019 European Tour to A Wrap in Lisbon

Tool have officially wrapped up their 2019 tour. The only date left for the band now is a performance at Sacramento's Aftershock Festival. But with a new album in the horizon, perhaps a more extensive tour will follow?!
Tool's tour wrap happened last night, July 2nd, in Lisbon, Portugal at Altice Arena. They brought with them their staple 2019 setlist of 13 songs that featured some of their most well know cuts like "Forty Six & 2" and "Schism," along with a couple of new songs like "Invincible" and "Descending."
While the setlist remained the same for most of the European tour, Tool did manage to add some later additions and even a couple of deep cuts. "Parabol" and "CCTrip" wasn't performed at every show. "Parabol" was apart of eight setlists while "CCTrip" was apart of seven.
Additionally, during their some of their festival sets, Tool pulled out two deep cuts. They did "Part of Me" at five different fest sets, and "Sweat" at three!
One other surprise occurred that is non-setlist related. Maynard James Keenan broke his own rule by having a photo taken at a Tool show! It's a well-known ruled that "NO PHOTOS ARE ALLOWED ONSTAGE" but apparently he was feeling sentimental. Check out that photo below, which was posted on the Instagram account they recently launched!
Check out their setlist from Lisbon below:
Tool's first European tour since 2007 was granted a success! Keenan impressed fans with his low range vocal chops and staple voice that solidifies the Tool sound. The production was also something to gawk out as their stage shows provided trippy visuals and lasers that take the live experience to a whole new level. Not to mention that die hard fans were ecstatic to hear new music for the first time in years!
Make sure to keep up with what Tool is up to next by keeping tabs on their website.
