Jung Kook of BTS Live Debuts New Single "Seven" on GMA

This morning, Jung Kook trended across the globe after the release of his much-anticipated solo single "Seven." As the song featured more mature lyrics than expected as well as a surprise feature from the famous rap artist Latto, it comes as no surprise that fans everywhere just can't get enough.

For many, however, that hype started far sooner than today. About a week ago, it was announced on Good Morning America's social media platforms that Jung Kook would be kicking off the GMA Summer Concert Series LIVE From Central Park and live debuting the new single. A limited number of tickets were given away for free to a select few who sent in applications online.

Even though fans were notified throughout the week about whether or not they were lucky enough to receive a ticket, many decided to take a chance and began camping out in Central Park as early as Monday morning in order to ensure a good spot, just in case they would be allowed in.

Unfortunately, bad weather made its way to New York on the day of the show and the production team were unsure of whether or not they would be able to move forward with the taping in the afternoon. However, Jung Kook wanted to make sure fans wouldn't have to leave without seeing him, so he ended up performing his soundcheck earlier that morning for everyone who came. Those who were in attendance got to watch the entirety of Jung Kook's three-track set before he was ushered off of the stage.
