The Princess of Pop a.k.a. Ms. Kylie Minogue is on her Kylie Summer 2024 tour. The Australian pop icon made a stop in London this weekend, headlining the final show of the BST Hyde Park summer concert series.

The BST setlist stands out at 24 songs–twice as long as the tour’s previous sets, which usually land between 12 and 14 songs. Kylie starts each show with “Tension,” the titular single from her 2023 album, followed by Fever’s “Come Into My World” and “In Your Eyes” and Kylie’s “Get Outta My Way.” After these four is when the London show gets its extra oomph.

Overall, the tour’s setlist pulls mostly from Fever, Tension, and Aphrodite – Fever being Kylie’s most performed album to-date, as well as her most commercially successful album. In addition to her regular tour set, the superstar gave Hyde Park attendees a number of debuts, deep-cuts and never-before-seen stuff.

• Live debuts from Tension: “Things We Do For Love” and “One More Time”
• Tour debuts of Rhythm of Love’s “Better the Devil You Know,” “Shocked” and “Step Back in Time,” Kylie’s “Confide in Me,” “Got To Be Certain,” “I Should Be So Lucky” and “Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi,” Body Language’s “Red Blooded Woman,” Ultimate Kylie’s “I Believe in You” and X’s “Wow” and “2 Hearts.”
• “Red Blooded Woman” live for the first time since 2011.
• A set of audience requests, all done a capella and largely from her early albums: “Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi,” “2 Hearts,” “Got to Be Certain,” and “I Should Be So Lucky.” While some of these songs were a part of her Las Vegas residency sets, Kylie had not performed “2 Hearts” since 2018 or “Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi” since 2019.
• A duet of “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” the record-smashing single from Fever and Kylie’s most-performed song, with Anitta (who also had a set at BST this weekend).
• A cover of Carole King’s “The Loco-Motion,” which Minogue released as a single in 1987.
• Her second-ever performance of “Midnight Ride,” Minogue’s collaboration single with Orville Peck and Diplo, released in June.
• The world premiere of an unreleased song, “Good as Gone,” played as a pre-recorded interlude at the beginning of the popstar’s encore.
• Closing out the show with a live debut of “My Oh My,” Minogue’s latest single in collaboration with Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo, and performed with the song’s collaborators as surprise guests

If there’s one thing Kylie’s going to do, it’s wow, shock, gag us! This setlist was truly a testament to over 35-years of pop perfection, and I’m imagining that fans who witnessed it will be singing “I Should Be So Lucky” when they retell the story to their grandchildren.
