Muse officially launched The WOW! Signal tour, on July 2 at Summerfest's American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The nearly two-hour performance featured two live debuts, a career-spanning setlist, and an unexpected mid-show power outage.

The trio opened with the live debut of "Hexagons," the third single from The WOW! Signal, before seamlessly shifting into fan favorite "Hysteria." The pairing set the tone for the evening, as Muse alternated between new material and classics from throughout their catalog. "Cryogen" followed before "Supermassive Black Hole," while later in the show the band also performed "Unravelling," "Be With You," and the live debut of "Nightshift Superstar."

The concert briefly came to a halt after "Resistance" when power onstage unexpectedly went out. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, frontman Matt Bellamy laughed as the stage went dark before walking off while the issue was resolved. After a short delay, Muse returned to resume the show with "Unravelling," picking up as though nothing had happened.

The heart of the set leaned heavily on the band's 2000s output, with "Stockholm Syndrome," "Psycho," "Plug In Baby," and "Time Is Running Out" anchoring the middle portion of the show. The final stretch featured arena staples "Uprising" and "Knights of Cydonia," before winding down with "Undisclosed Desires," "Starlight," and an encore performance of "Take a Bow."

In total, Muse performed five songs from The WOW! Signal while drawing heavily from 2003's Absolution, 2006's Black Holes and Revelations, and 2009's The Resistance, highlighting the band's evolution over more than two decades.

Released on June 26, The WOW! Signal is Muse's tenth studio album and explores themes of extraterrestrial communication, technological anxiety, existential wonder, and humanity's search for meaning in an increasingly disconnected world.

Following the Summerfest performance, The WOW! Signal Tour is officially underway visiting Cincinnati, Tinley Park, Toronto, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and more throughout the summer.
