A Day to Remember Release + Live Debut New Song "Degenerates"

After taking a bit of a break, A Day to Remember returned to the touring circuit this summer to get their bearings back. The Raisin' Hell in the Heartland Tour made its rounds in the US earlier this summer, and now their in Europe performing festival sets.

Last night, however, they performed a special headlining gig ahead of their performances at Leeds and Reading Festival. The concert took place in Holland at Nijmegen’s Doornroosje. This was their first Dutch show since 2017!

They performed a 17-song setlist that featured most of what they've been performing the majority of the year - including staples like "2nd Sucks," "I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?" "Have Faith in Me," "The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle," among others. But the real treat came 11 songs in when they live debut their brand new song "Degenerates" right before they released it to the public.

“So we in A Day To Remember have taken quite a bit of time off – this is our first few shows back,” frontman Jeremy McKinnon said during the show. “So this is a secret, but we’re gonna put out a brand new song tomorrow. And this is absolutely against everything that we built this band to be, because we used to go to shows like this, and when bands would play new songs, we were like ‘get to it buddy’. I don’t know why, but if it’s cool with you, we’d like to play it for you – is that cool?… This song is called ‘Degenerates'”.
