Goo Goo Dolls' Summer 2019 Tour Is In Full Gear - See Highlights

Goo Goo Dolls announced their co-headlining tour alongside fellow hit-makers Train late last year. The 2019 co-headlining summer tour kicked off on June 7 at White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Washington. Packing in a total of 45 dates set for this co-headlining summer amphitheater tour between June 7 and August 17, it's safe to say the bands are keeping quite busy.

Goo Goo Dolls have spent the summer delivering their iconic hits to fans across the country. But the familiar hits aren't the only songs they're giving fans on this tour. The tour kickoff on June 7 featured a live debut of "Miracle Pill" at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Washington.

On July 7 during the Tampa, Florida show, frontman Johnny Rzeznik proclaimed it was too hot to dress like a rock star, and can you blame him with that Florida humidity?! He then shared a story about life choices that led into an acoustic performance of one of their most famous songs and it was all caught on video, check out this goosebumps-inducing performance below:

On August 7 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania at the KeyBank Pavilion, a fan captured the glory of "Slide" and "Black Balloon" for all to see! The performance capture highlighted their stage production and lighting, as the Dolls dances and moved about in front of massive digital screens. A highlight in particular coming from the literal black balloons thrown out and about to the crowd during a performance of "Black Balloon!"

The setlist has remained the same mostly for this tour, but it's worth noting that a Supertramp cover of "Give a Little Bit" was only performed once and that was during the Kansas City, Missouri date. The song "Come to Me" has only been performed a total of four times on this tour while "Sympathy" has a total of seven plays.

Check out the setlist from their latest show below and catch them live if you can, there's like 3 shows left!
