Metallica Play 3-Song Setlist for The Howard Stern Show

It's a pretty good month to be a Metallica fan! The rock icons recently announced a drive-in concert experience slated to premiere on August 29 which will feature the band hitting the stage virtually across the country. The guys are set to film and play a full, career-spanning set for the big event. This comes right after the release of S&M2 on August 28, a live album recorded with the San Francisco Symphony in 2019.
But ahead of their big end-of-month events, Metallica made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, August 12 where they performed three songs, two being from Metallica ("Black Album") which celebrated 29 years, originally released on August 12, 1991. The album has gone on to become the best-selling album of the past three decades!
Metallica recorded the 3-song set at their San Rafael, California headquarters which aired on The Howard Stern Show. The set opened with The Black Album's "Wherever I May Roam" and "The Unforgiven" before moving into an acoustic rendition of "All Within My Hands" with Avi Vinocur. See the setlist below.
