A Tribe Called Quest Played Last Show Three Years Ago Today

After the tragic death of Phife Dawg in 2016, A Tribe Called Quest embarked on a final tour to support their last album with Phife. In 2017 they performed at a number of summer festivals and wrapped up on this day, September 9th, exactly 3 years ago at Bestival in East Lulworth, England.
The set featured 23 songs that gave fans a little something off all six of their studio albums, especially tracks off their final album, We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service and their hit record Midnight Marauders.
They opened up with "The Space Program" and continued to gift the crowd with anthemic numbers like "Oh My God," "Luck of Lucien," and "Electric Relaxation." Highlights included a Phife Dawg acapella rendition of "Butter," a cover of Busta Rhymes' "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check," and the addition of two Q-Tip songs - "Let's Ride" and "Vivrant Thing."
They ended the main set on "Check the Rhime" before coming back out for an unforgettable three-song encore. It started off with their most performed song ever and hit single, "Can I Kick It?" and ended on "We the People..." which they performed THREE TIMES before signing off for good.
