The Avett Brothers are the latest band to join the growing trend of drive-in concerts, performing for fans this past weekend at their first live show in six months.
The drive-in show took place at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on Saturday, August 29. The guys played a whopping 26-song setlist at the show, opening with 2016's True Sadness song "Ain't No Man" and working their way through tracks from 7 of their studio albums and 2 of their EPs.

As if a 26-song setlist isn't a big enough deal, fans were treated to the full-band debut of their Closer Than Together song "Locked Up." While the guys played "Locked Up" remotely for The Ellen Show on June 4, 2020, the full-band performance on August 29 was the first time they've ever played it during a concert performance.
