Pearl Jam Plays First Full Set Since 2018

On the evening of Saturday, September 18, Pearl Jam hit the stage in Asbury Park, NJ to headline the Sea.Hear.Now festival. It was their first show since 2018, and the 20-song set featured several first-ever live performances from their 2020 studio album, Gigaton.

The band kicked off the set with the second-ever performance of "Dance of the Clairvoyants" before the live debuts of "Quick Escape" and "Seven O Clock." Check out fan footage of the opening:

The live debut of "Never Destination" came six songs in, leading into "Even Flow" - their #1 most-performed song to date. Gigaton single "Superblood Wolfmoon" got its debut mid-set, see that:

The final live debut of the night was "Take the Long Way." The band closed the set with Ten's "Porch" and a three-song encore that sandwiched "Alive" (2nd most-performed song to date) between a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "My City of Ruins" and Neil Young's "Rockin in the Free World."
