Setlist History: The Rolling Stones Live Debut 5 Songs in 1973

In honor and memory of the legendary Charlie Watts, we're looking back at a special performance in The Rolling Stones' history. In 1973, the rockstars were on their Goats Head Soup Tour in support for their eleventh British and thirteenth American studio album. The Stones self-released the record on their label on August 13, 1973.

On September 1, 1973, The Rolling Stones performed at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. The 18-song setlist which kicked off with "Brown Sugar" from their ninth studio album Sticky Fingers would be one for the books. The performance included not one, but FIVE live debuts from Goats Head Soup, like "100 Years Ago," "Star Star," "Angie," "Dancing With Mr. D," and "Silver Train." The band's stacked setlist wrapped up with "Street Fighting Man" from 1968's Beggars Banquet. See the full setlist:
