Hayley Williams officially kicked off The Hayley Williams Show last night (9/3) at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida, bringing six live debuts and a few surprises along for opening night.
The show marked the beginning of Williams' extensive 31-show trek and gave fans their first look at the full-scale production. As promised when the tour was announced, Williams pulled from across her entire solo catalog, packing 26 songs into the opening-night set.

Williams wasted no time bringing something new to the stage, opening the night with the live debut of "Just a Lover" from her 2021 album FLOWERS for VASES / descansos. She followed it with another debut, "Over Yet," before moving into "Simmer" from her 2020 debut solo album Petals for Armor.
The live debuts continued throughout the night with "Creepin'," "My Friend" and "Cinnamon." Williams also returned to "Just a Lover" later in the main set for a reprise, bringing the opening-night debut full circle.
With the tour promised to feature songs from throughout Williams' solo career, the setlist delivered. Petals for Armor was represented by tracks including "Leave It Alone," "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris," "Dead Horse," "Pure Love" and "Crystal Clear." Her latest album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, also had a major presence with "Kill Me," "Hard," "True Believer," "Glum," "Disappearing Man," "Dream Girl in Shibuya" and more.

The surprises didn't stop with the live debuts. Williams performed a cover of Nina Simone's "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and incorporated a snippet of Portishead's "Wandering Star" into "Simmer," marking the first time she had included the latter in a solo performance since 2020.
Williams closed out the main set with the "Just a Lover" reprise before returning for a three-song encore of "Mirtazapine," "Brotherly Hate" and "Parachute."
Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty got the night started and will continue to join Williams throughout the U.S. leg of the tour.
With six live debuts, deep cuts and unexpected covers all making their way into opening night, The Hayley Williams Show is already living up to its promise of celebrating every corner of Williams' solo catalog, with plenty of room for more surprises as the tour continues.
