15-year old pop prodigy Billie Eilish has embarked on the North American leg of her first ever world tour. The sold out shows kicked off on October 4 in Santa Ana, California at The Observatory and will conclude on the other side of the world, Australia's Laneway Perth on February 11.

The talented, 'gloom pop' songstress performed in her hometown at Los Angeles venue The Echo. Backed only by her 17 year old brother Finneas, the duo kicked off their set with "COPYCAT," the opening track from Eilish's newly released EP Don't Smile at Me. The LA show's setlist consisted of all tracks from the EP, which was just released in August on Interscope Records, including debut single "Ocean Eyes."

Billie Eilish's lyrics touch on heartbreak, love, and themes you may not typically expect a 15-year old to be well versed in. In a recent interview with Billboard, the pop vocalist revealed the inspiration behind the music: “You don’t have to be in love with someone to write a song about being in love with someone. You don’t have to hate somebody to write a song about hating somebody. You don’t have to kill people to write a song about killing people. I’m not going to kill people, so I’m just going to become another character.”
