Throughout the night, fans can expect to hear some Sam Smith classics like “Lay Me Down,” “Latch,” and “I’m Not the Only One,” so, definitely bring your singing voice with you. The nights average setlist is a mixture of songs from In The Lonely Hour, his debut studio album, and of course The Thrill Of It All, with a few surprise cover performances like The Georgia Mass Choir’s “I Sing Because I’m Happy” and Charles Hutchinson Gabriel’s “His Eye Is On The Sparrow.” You can take a look at his setlist from his latest show in Seoul, South Korea below:

The second you buy your tickets to a Sam Smith show, you know you’re not only going to get to be serenaded by his astounding voice, but you will leave the room feeling this tingle running through your entire body. A little dose of ASMR, anyone?
The minimalistic stage set-up is also something to definitely notice during the show. With nothing but a chair, his band, and a triangular platform for a stage, Sam Smith is the center of everyone’s attention, just as he should be. During his show in Miami on July 14th, Sam actually arose from beneath the stage while the tune of his hit “Burning” filled the arena. And of course, seeing this, the crowd went wild shrieking and cheering, indicating the start of an amazing night.
Staying true to his “nice guy” reputation, Sam Smith made sure to let this shine through even during his performance. Starting out with a warm welcome, Smith often took short breaks between songs to encourage the crowd to sing along and make the most of the experience.
Worried that fans would leave his show depressed, he worked extra hard to give them a night to remember, and he sure did succeed. During his show in Anaheim he said:
“I think a lot of people when they come to this show and this tour, they’re expecting a really, really depressing experience… we’ve been working so hard to make sure you will leave this room feeling good.”
