The Internet "Hive Mind" Tour Highlights and Live Photos
The Internet, who just kicked off their headlining tour in support of their latest album, Hive Mind, are absolutely killing it up on stage. Bringing their unique blend of pop/funk and R&B, they have seen packed stadiums almost every night.
During the opening night show in Minneapolis on October 17, The Internet kicked off the night with “Come Together,” a single from Hive Mind and the crowd went absolutely wild. With a super noticeable 70’s R&B vibe, the power of the rhythm was inspiring. Starting out on such a strong note, the crowd only expected the night to improve from there, which is exactly what happened.
You could very clearly see the passion and excitement in each one of the band members faces. Patrick Page and Steve Lacy dominated the bass and guitar, while Christopher Smith’s drumming complimented their instruments, and the beat was topped with Syd the Kid's intoxicating vocals and Matt Martian’s insane keyboarding skills. The effect they had on the crowd was completely electric, the entire theatre was singing at the top of their lungs and dancing like no one was watching them.
Their chemistry on stage is just ethereal and definitely something that can only be captured when they are up on stage performing live. So, just in case you don’t want to miss out on this amazing show; we have the remaining tour dates below. Take a look at their Setlist from their show in Santa Crus below:
Hive Mind marks the end of the 3 year hiatus the band had taken after the release of their Ego Death album in 2015. During this time, band members Syd, Lacy, Martian, released solo projects titled Fin, Steve Lacy’s Demo and The Drum Chord respectively.
