Allen Stone Debuted "Warriors" Live at 2018 Special Olympics
The human experience:
"Computers cannot duplicate the heart rhythm that happens between humans. When you play a record live, and you record it right to a device, via human interaction, I think there's something there that's really cool. I have toothed and clawed over the years to try and make sure that there's humans on the record."
On performing "Warriors" at the Special Olympics:
"What a thrill, it was easily the best thing I've ever done, in my life, with my art. The athletes were really kind of the modern day warriors. I couldn't have played the song for any better situation. It was the first time I have played music and it wasn't about me, which was really great. It was really uplifting to be able to stand aside- still play music, still enjoy it- but be like look at these incredible humans here. Everyone is here to just have fun and help each other, and enjoy life. It was so cool. I would only perform for Special Olympic events if I could."
