Demi Lovato, Sia, Brandy Live Debut New Songs at BBMAS 2020

After a months-long delay, the Billboard Music Awards aired last night, October 14th from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. While the awards themselves are important (Post Malone took home nine!), we were really floored by some of the performances. There were 15 performances total, including songs by winners Post Malone, Bad Bunny and Luke Combs.
The evening’s first live debut came from Sia, who performed “Courage to Change” from her upcoming self-directed film, Music. Take a look:
Brandy played a three-song set with two live debuts, the first being “Borderline” from her new album B7. The second live debut was “No Tomorrow” her collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and she closed with throwback hit “Almost Doesn’t Count.”

Demi Lovato live debuted her powerful new track “Commander in Chief” and it was not without controversy.

Other highlights included a “Dynamite” performance by BTS, a Broadway-inspired number by Doja Cat and Lizzo’s speech.
