Fiona Apple Live Debuts Three "Fetch The Bolt Cutters" Tracks

Whenever Fiona Apple pops up on our radar, it feels like a rare bird sighting. Even her planned performances are few and far between (2016, 2017, 2018), the mere mention of a setlist could have fans salivating. Because she. Always. Delivers.

This past weekend Apple appeared at part of the virtual New Yorker Festival, where she live debuted three tracks from Fetch The Bolt Cutters, her sixth studio album. Apple was slated to release FTBC in the fall of 2020, but jumped at the chance to release it during lockdown, when many other artists were pushing back releases.
In addition to a lengthy and unfiltered conversation with writer Emily Nussbaum, Apple performed the first three tracks off FTBC for the very first time. The album’s title track, “I Want You To Love Me” and “Shameika” all got the full band treatment. I know you may be tired of watching performances through a screen, but these are worth your while if you’re a fan of Fiona.
