Kacey Musgraves Live Debuts "keep lookin' up" at ACL

Country-pop princess Kacey Musgraves played Austin City Limits last night (October 9) and during her 18-song set, she treated fans to the first ever live performance of "keep lookin' up."

After asking the audience to participate via snaps, Kacey introduced the song by saying, "I told you a grew up in the sticks down in East Texas. Golden, to be exact. This song is inspired by all the weird shit that I've seen. It was also inspired by some advice my Dad gave me - he's watching tonight, so we're singing this for him. This is the first time I've ever played this song live."

Her whole set is on YT (for now!), the intro for the new song starts at 1:04:27

"keep lookin' up" is on Musgraves' newest release, 2021's star-crossed, which made up the majority of the set with 9 songs. She wrapped her star-crossed: unveiled tour in February of this year. Read about that here.

She took the stage at 8:15PM with a '70s glam inspired look, and included a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" in the nearly 90-minute set. See the full ACL setlist below:
