Disturbed is hitting the road next year, celebrating 25 years of their debut album, The Sickness! Often considered the record that established them as one of the biggest heavy metal bands of the 21st century, we can’t even imagine the surprises that await in every city. Joined by Three Days Grace, Daughtry, Sevendust and Nothing More on select dates, this Disturbed tour will begin on February 25th in Nampa, ID, and make dozens of stops.
This trek will feature two sets from Disturbed every night — one in which they play The Sickness in its entirety, and another composed of their greatest hits. They’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure there’s something for everyone, whether you were present when The Sickness topped the charts in 2000 or only got into the band over the last few years from festival slots. No judgment here!
However, one must understand just how crucial The Sickness is to Disturbed and their artistry. The album was certified five times platinum by the RIAA, spent a whopping 106 weeks on the US Billboard 200 chart, and was named as one of the "Top 25 Debut Hard Rock Albums” by Revolver. The record is often synonymous with the hit single “Down With the Sickness,” a menacing and majorly catchy alt-metal tune that’s remained a setlist staple for a quarter century.
Do we expect an even louder round of applause during every performance of this song? Yes. But every track will get the love it deserves on this Disturbed tour. The band is paying tribute to the album that made them while also ensuring that none of their other music feels left out, including their most recent album, 2022’s Divisive. And no heavy metal fan can miss out on this exhilarating trek around the country. Get your Disturbed tickets starting Friday, October 18th.
