Fresh off the announcement of her upcoming album Everybody Scream, set for release on Halloween, Florence Welch has confirmed a massive 2026 North American tour of the same name. The trek kicks off on April 8th in Minneapolis, MN, with stops in Chicago, IL, Miami, FL, Portland, OR, and more before finishing with two nights in Los Angeles.
What inspired Everybody Scream, a record that “exposes the murky in the mundane,” per a press release? A lifesaving surgery that practically transformed Welch into a modern-day witch. Her recovery inspired an interest in spirituality, mysticism, and folk horror that she largely credits with her healing process… and her new album that’s already generating a lot of hype.
One only needs to watch Florence + The Machine’s performance of “Everybody Scream” on The Graham Norton Show to understand that his project goes deep. Clad in a flowy black dress — assisted by a superb choir and spooky backdrops – she oozes raw femininity and gothic mysticism with every note.
