Dido Announces First Tour In 15 Years Along with New LP and Song

Dido woke up and delivered a double whammy of news for fans today. The "Thank You" singer has announced her first album in five years, titled Still On My Mind. This album follows 2013's Girl Who Got Away, which featured a song with Kendrick Lamar, and will be her fifth studio album release.

The brit pop musician plans on releasing the forthcoming LP on March 8th, 2019 via BMG. She's unveiled the lead single "Hurricanes," which features her beloved soft vocals with a built up climax. Listen to the track below.

The new album was recorded with her brother and longtime collaborator Rollo (of Faithless.)

"It was simple, I only wanted to make another album if it was with him," Dido said. "It was made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home."

Believe it or not, it's been 15 years since Dido has hit the road, and she finally intends on breaking the hiatus with a 2019 tour in support of the new album. The trek kicks off May 5th in the Czech Republic, and June 13th in Chicago will be her first North American show of the tour. The whole thing will wrap up on June 30th in Seattle, Washington. Dates are below and tickets go on sale November 16th.
