Will Slayer Play These Songs on Final Week of 2019 Tour? See Odds

This is it ladies, gents and non-binaries, Slayer's last week on their farewell tour - The Final Campaign. Slayer is on the very last leg of their very last tour, so they say! The "Reign in Blood" thrash metal pioneers have only 5 shows left before they throw in the towel and bid us adieu.
As they end their near four-decade career, the tour has featured an all-encompassing setlist, offering a 20-song fanfare and of course, an insane visual showcase of pyro and classic Slayer symbolism as the backdrop.
The 2019 North American setlist has remained unscathed, but seeing as they're entering the final days of tour we at setlist.fm can't help but wonder... will they change it up?
We took the pleasure of digging into our data to find some of our favorite songs that either haven't been performed on the tour at all, or was dropped off last year, and then we did some math to figure out the odds that they'd perform the songs at any of the remaining shows! Read on for the results.

“Die by the Sword"

Considering that this cut off of Show No Mercy is their 12th most performed song to date, we're a little surprised that this 1980s masterpiece hasn't been performed since their Repentless Tour in 2017. Since it's been played 891 times, however, this song has the highest chance at 41.5% to make the setlist before the tour wrap!

“Black Magic”

This is another track off of Show No Mercy and follows closely behind "DBTS", landed as their 13th most performed track to date. Slayer was actually performing this cut during a number of their festival sets over the year, but dropped it off after October 2019. Since it was already part of the tour at one point, that gives it a 41% chance to make a comeback. But I have an inkling that if it was between this and "DBTS", I'd go with the one that has yet to make a tour debut!

“Captor of Sin”

Here we have a beloved deep cut off of 1984 EP Haunting the Chapel. "Captor of Sin" is also a track that was part of their Final Campaign Tour up until March 2019. Much like "Black Magic," Slayer performed this song mostly at festival sets. With that said, it was only performed four times this year and before that, it hadn't seen a setlist since 2017. We calculated a 30% chance that they'll bust it again one last time.

“At Dawn They Sleep”

This is a great cut off of Hell Awaits, however it hasn't been part of their live performances since 2015. If there's anyway they'll perform it during one of the remaining five days, it's going to be a 28% chance! It's small but I believe in miracles.

You know we had to throw in a 90's Slayer cut here. Off of Divine Intervention, "Dittohead" sadly has the lowest chance of making their setlist at 21% odds. But that's only in the numbers! Our data estimates that this track has been performed around 437 times and the last time was on this very tour during both the North American and European legs! So we will take the low odds with a grain of salt because it could very well pop back out one last time!
