Is 2025 destined to be the year of dad rock? Sounds like it! Papa Roach is embarking on the Rise of the Roach tour early next year, joined by Rise Against and Underoath for an arena-shaking night of heavy hits. They’ll kick off on March 20th in Houston, TX, stopping in 30 cities before concluding on October 5th in West Palm Beach, FL.
“We can’t wait to bring the Rise Of The Roach tour to North America next year,” says Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix. “Rise Against are legends in their own right, and will bring another dynamic to this tour. With both our bands celebrating our 25+ year legacy and deep catalogs, we are truly blessed to be able to put this show in front of fans.”
The two bands go way back, having crossed paths at countless music festivals and KROQ events over the past two decades. They’ve even sat side-by-side on the Billboard charts a few times, namely with 2000s favorites like Papa Roach’s “...To Be Loved” and “Prayer of the Refugee” by Rise Against. Feeling nostalgic yet?
Speaking of which, this Papa Roach tour also serves as a celebration of their sophomore album, Infest. Featuring “Last Resort,” one of their most famous songs of all time, the Grammy-nominated album helped Papa Roach enter the mainstream rock world and become the multiplatinum icons they are today. To the point where Falling in Reverse’s reimagined cover of “Last Resort” has since earned over 30 million views on YouTube!
Of course, Papa Roach has also been on top of their game in recent years. The band released its eleventh album, Ego Trip, in 2022, and collaborated with Carrie Underwood this year on the single “Leave A Light On (Talk Away the Dark).” This hauntingly beautiful single aims to raise awareness for suicide prevention, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and other charities.
The legacy of Papa Roach is undeniable, and they’re guaranteed to put on the mother of all rock shows on the Rise of the Roach tour. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, November 14, for the following cities:
