The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: Taylor Swift debuted “Cassandra” at Friday’s Eras Tour show in Toronto, making a full live debut of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
If you remember, Taylor released her eleventh studio album during the Eras Tour hiatus last spring. She took over European stages in May with not just a chart-topping renewed energy, but a completely new setlist, carving out an era for TTPD with six songs and a theatrical medley affectionately coined Female Rage The Musical.
One fan-favorite act of the show is a two-piece acoustic arc of surprise songs, and while in Europe, Taylor used this set to debut 30 of 31 tracks on TTPD: The Anthology. Here at setlist.fm, we’ve been hoping, wishing, praying she’d perform “Cassandra” before the end of the tour. (Everyone say, "thank you, Taylor!")
The surprise set always starts with a spoken intro, followed by either a song or (more often) a mashup on guitar before Taylor switches to piano for the second number.
Here’s a full breakdown of what she’s played since our last update:
Indianapolis Night 1:
- "The Albatross" / "Holy Ground" (mashup on guitar)
- "Cold As You" / "exile" (mashup on piano)

On Night 3 in Toronto, U.S & Canada show opener (and Taylor’s bestie), Gracie Abrams, joined the singer-songwriter for a mashup of “us.” (Abrams' new release, which features Swift) and “Out of the Woods.” The pair have only performed "us." once before, at Wembley Stadium in London.
We know Taylor has some tricks up her sleeves to close out the tour. With only three shows left in Vancouver, check back here for a recap of all the best statistics from the Eras Tour.
