Exclusive Access: Kevin Gates 2019 "I'm Him" Tour, Los Angeles

Singer, entrepreneur and rap powerhouse Kevin Gates just wrapped up his North American tour dates in support of his latest full length studio album, I'm Him. The Baton Rouge rapper kicked off his fall dates October 12th in Chicago, Illinois and wrapped up on November 30th in Seattle, Washington.
The tour which featured special guests YK Osiris, Rod Wave, & SDoT Fresh highlighted Kevin & Dreka Gates Foundation's charity drive to encourage fans to get into the spirit of giving back. Kevin asked fans to bring canned food items or clothing to any of the California dates to donate in exchange for merch.
We caught up with Kevin Gates at the Los Angeles stop of the tour at The Novo. We witnessed Gates as he ran through his soundcheck ahead of his headlining set. Take a look at exclusive behind the scenes photos from our day:

According to our Setlist.fm data, Kevin's previous setlists have been approximately 29 tracks long. For the New York stop the tour, he opened with "Great Man" off of his 2018's Money Long & Great Man. New songs from 2019's I'm Him were included within the set like "Icebox," "By My Lonely," "Facts," "Say It Twice," "Walls Talking," "Face Down," "What I Like," and "Funny How." The night also featured fan favorites "2 Phones," "Push It," "Really Really" and Gate's collab with Piles' "All Thee Above."
