Guns N' Roses Announce 2025 Tour with Public Enemy, Sex Pistols

Guns N' Roses are finally touring with a band that are more notorious than they are.

The '80s hair metal legends just announced a 2025 European and Middle East excursion called the Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things Tour.

And that's for sure.

What we want is the Sex Pistols with their new 40 year-old singer Frank Carter to tour the world together causing commotions and upsetting the authorities around this globe.

What we are going to get is a tiny taste of that, which is better than nothing.

Guns will tour primarily with the well-behaved Rival Sons as their support act, and then on other dates with the highly professional Public Enemy bringing the noise.

Don't misunderstand me, Rival Sons are fantastic. Younger Gen-Xers who are unapologetically the very last classic rock group to come out of Long Beach, California, if anyone compliments the bluesier aspect of Guns, it's the Sons.

Likewise, who could complain about getting to see Public Enemy? Just a few months ago in West Springfield, Massachusetts, Flavor Flav took off his shirt played the bass, then took over on the drums while Chuck D. rapped to "Timebomb."

Hip-hop royalty should never be taken for granted.

But what we all want to see more of is this old/new lineup of the Sex Pistols. This "kid" Frank Carter, an older millennial, has breathed new life into the original members of the punk trailblazers.

No one thought you could replace Johnny Rotten and it still sounds crazy on paper, but rock music is played on the stage, not on paper. And on the stage Frank fits perfectly with the thick power cords of Steve Jones and the rest of the lads.

Rival Sons will be playing the first half of the Guns dates starting in the nation of Georgia in May. P.E. will take over the second half in the end of June in Denmark.

Then the Sex Pistols will play a pair of gigs with Axl, Slash, Duff and the rest in Austria and then Luxembourg.

We wish it was more. We hope there will be more dates, especially American ones, next summer. And since we're asking Santa for gifts, how about a few dates with Steven Adler on drums?

Tickets available on the Guns website.
