Pearl Jam will bring their Dark Matter Tour to a number of U.S. cities in April and May 2025 to support their 3x Grammy-nominated chart-topping album.
The tour kicks off in Hollywood, Florida, on April 24 and wraps up in Pittsburgh, about a month later.
Fans can register for access to up to five concert dates now through Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. PT. The presale begins Friday the 13th, at 10 a.m. local time.
The grunge vets are in their 34th year together which is why Eddie Vedder has been wearing the jersey of Chicago Bear great Walter Payton at every show on the Dark Matter Tour.
Will he switch it up next year and wear the Chicago Cub ace pitcher Justin Steele when the band turns 35? It's well known that Vedder, who grew up in Chicago, is a huge Cubs fan.
Of the 37 gigs the band played in 2024, they went through over 130 tunes from 14 studio albums. They also performed 28 covers including a Temple of the Dog tune they hadn't played in a decade.
Their average set contained 25 songs, so if you go, get comfortable, you're going to experience a long, satisfying trip through the deep catalogue of one of rock's most enduring bands.
And best of all their new material is just as vital as their classics.
Released in April, Dark Matter debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200, earning PJ their 13th top 10 entry on the chart. The album's title track went to #1 on both the Rock & Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock Airplay charts.
The album's three Grammy noms bring their total to 14 nominations with just one win - for best Hard Rock Performance back in 1996. They got the trophy for "Spin The Black Circle," a tune they only played six times this year.
Smart money says that number will at least double their Grammy total at the next award show.
