Yeah, what’s up with all the made up tour names ??

Whats with all the made up tour names?

I was looking at this setlist:
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/choke/2000/downtown-orlando-fl-53882bcd.html
https://web.archive.org/web/20001019024101/http://wjrr.com/fallout2k/fallout2k.htm
Judging by the bands playing, and their genres of music, I think that the band Choke was the Louisiana sludge metal band, not the canadian punk band. What do you think? I am seeing Choke play this weekend and will try to see if they remember.

Wow, my fault. I just found a Hum 1995 live set on YouTube, and had no idea they were playing songs from DIH even back then, as I saw them in '96 and didn't remember them playing anything from that, but I guess my memory isn't what it used to be.

Ive been looking for ripped Mp3 audio or possibly any footage of shows from the early years of zebrahead. I have a few already and was wondering if theres any of the 2 for this show from 98?

I was trying to do an edit for a couple days prior at same venue and was using it as a starting point. My phone did some weird hiccough and then I couldn't find the starter list. I was hoping that it didn't go through because I didn't get to the "submit" screen but it appears it somehow did. Sorry about that. Guess I'll stick with doing from scratch next time. Never had that happen before.

I'm sure about the debuts, otherwise I wouldn't edit the old setlists, do you know everything about the Three Days Grace concerts?? You changed all the shit that I contributed to the setlists.

Hi. Could you explain if rules have changed for “First time since X”? I was under the impression it was five years. This has been a very hot topic on setlists. Rock fans want exact dates - look at this mess this caused with Slipknot: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/slipknot/2020/3arena-dublin-ireland-39b7d77.html

If you’re removing it after a 5 year gap of the song being played then did setlistfm change the rules to not allow it at all? I need some clarification here because I see and also edit many shows. The “first time since X” is on a LOT of setlists for bands because it used to be allowed, I think it’s a total waste of time to go back and remove all of that if it was allowed for quite a long time and now suddenly setlistfm wanted to do 5 years (and now none at all?). Thanks!

Hi, perhaps you can advise.
What gives where setlist entries that are correctly sourced and in some cases attended, get removed or reverted with no reason given?
Users doing this appear to do this a lot, from comments on their profiles. Are they trolls?

A prime, current example here. Check out the edits history https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/wet-leg/2022/trinity-centre-bristol-england-2bb6085a.html

Thanks

You've been adding a lot of tours and done great work, but today I noticed that you added or edited 3 concerts at De Klinker in Aarschot
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/touche-amore/2013/jc-de-klinker-aarschot-belgium-23b62073.html
You named the tour Is Survived By but the source you link has a poster calling the tour UK/EU Fall 2013 https://www.altpress.com/news/touche_amore_announce_fall_european_uk_tour_with_self_defense_family_and_da/ for Touché Amoré.

Hello! For your Slothrust edit at the Atlanta Stuffing event last November you listed the discography as a reason for dubbing the show as part of the Parallel Timeline tour.

I’d counter with it was a one off show and the tour itself started in March (with a visit to Atlanta scheduled in the next two weeks). Tour dubbing isn’t critical for me so figured I’d just mention it here versus on the set itself, but I don’t think it should be counted as part of the tour.

Lmk what you think!

Could you please use a source instead of mentioning correct song info for some of your edits?

I have reverted all of your Asking Alexandria edits of the last 48 hours as per my last comment.
Could you please get back to me?

Why did you remove the tour name from this setlist?
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/blessthefall/2011/claremont-showground-perth-australia-63cad67f.html#sfmsrsgbc14196

It is a valid tour name, as explained in the guidelines you linked.

Geographic area and year. Frequently used for older bands who go years between new albums. E.g. European Tour 1997.

Hello. This link does not provide information as to when the tour dates actually were for this release. I am reverting a 2008 concert you changed, which was over a year after its release. You may want to be more careful.Thx! >> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_81_(album) <<

Thanks for correcting my mistake on crossfaith setlist. :-)

Greetings,
You requested Radiodown/Cincinnati/OH to be merged with Radio Down/Covington/KY.
The Cincinnati/OH venue has a KMFDM setlist from 2011 assigned to it.
The Covington/KY venue has a note saying that the venue closed in 2005.
Therefore, can you please change the KMFDM setlist to the correct venue before we merge?
Thanks!

Hey, so I've been using Setlist FM. For a while and I was wondering why I've suddenly been locked out of editing Setlists. Even when I use diffirent accounts it keeps locking me out?!
