Hi. You are marked as an attendee at this Oingo Boingo show on Oct 15 1995 in Seattle:
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/oingo-boingo/1995/seattle-center-exhibition-hall-seattle-wa-63eeee0b.html

Do you remember anything about the concert - announcement, tickets on sale or a private show / radio station or promotional show?

We can't find anything online about a show on this date. It wasn't printed on the tour t-shirts, etc. Users are reporting the setlist for deletion because they can't find any additional sources, but you are marked as an attendee and I'm hoping you can provide some insights about the show.
thanks.

Hi there, fellow Boingo fan! I saw your setlist from the Feb 10, 1988 show. Any chance you have a recording from it? If so, I'd love to trade. My collection is here:

Unfortunately, I don't really have a chance to see them, as I live in Japan! But I did see the Tripwires with Jim on bass (and brother Johnny on guitar, not to mention Dan from Mudhoney on drums) on Lopez Island earlier this month when I was visiting my parents. I went to school with the Sangster brothers on Lopez in the late 70's and early 80's. I also hung out in the U-District Cellophone Square a lot, but was usually too shy to talk to Scott. I definitely bought a lot of records there, though!

Really wish I could see YFF again though. I think I saw them at least 4 times at the HUB Ballroom in '88 alone, but besides the Meat Puppets show and the Totally Lost record release party on April 29, those dates seem to be lost to history. I saw the concert in fall (or maybe late summer?) '88 when they came back from tour a bit worse for wear, and Scott smashed up his acoustic guitar (that's the show referenced in 'The Ballad of the Bootleg'--'we went back to Seattle and smashed up what was left.' If you ever run into Scott, please ask him if she remembers when that show was!

Thanks for the response! Since leaving that message, I've found diary entries and also an online artice that mentioned the Young Fresh Fellows as the opening band. Tad did play at the HUB Ballroom a fair bit in the late 80's, but I don't think they played at that show. An amusing note: I was a big YFF back then, and since their drummer Tad Hutchington was one of my favorite Seattle musicians, when I first started hearing references to 'Tad' in Seattle, I thought they were talking about Tad H.

Hi there. I noticed that you attended the Meat Puppets concert at the HUB Ballroom in January 1988. Sorry to bother you, but can you by any choice remember if there was an opening band that night, and if so, who played? I saw a lot of concerts at the HUB back then, but tend to get them mixed up. If you don't remember, no worries, but if you do, I'd be grateful if you would tell me via a comment on my page. BTW, looks like you've seen a lot of awesome shows!
