An important detail:
You should put that you attended the concerts. You will be all the more credible.

About the names of the musicians, they are to be put in the Setlist info which can only be added when there is the creation of the list or any modification.
It is not possible to put only this information without further modification.
This is voluntary information that I think is interesting to put in. It can be used by people who are doing research.

When I was looking for information about the concerts I saw, I I discoveredsetlist.fm. Although I am far from having found everything, it is a gold mine to which you have supplied few details!
Thank you

Well, you know a lot!
Indeed, the title announced https://www.rts.ch/audio-podcast/2022/audio/cully-jazz-festival-2022-youn-sun-nah-tigran-hamasyan-trio-25832371.html is Old Map.

Okay, but this has nothing to do with what’s on the CD.
I’m not going to question your knowledge. You’re certainly right.

I will just mention on setlist.fm the reminders and give the names of the musicians.

See you around.

Alain

Hello,

It seems that you are a Tigran specialist (not like me).
To recognize the pieces, you are very good.
Find « Erishta » in the performance given at the concert in relation to what is on the cd: bravo!
It’s more guessing than recognizing but actually it seems to be it is the good piece!
I never would have found it.

Indeed, there are only 8 pieces and not 9 or 10.

The piece played at 1° came back on stage is the continuation of the same “Our Film” that continues after the applause. Indeed, it is only one piece.

I completely agree with you regarding improvisations, which are particuliarities (welcome and expected) of concerts and which give them an additional attraction.
That’s why I often go to concerts.
Nothing is worse as a concert than when the musicians reproduce exactly their studio recording.

You write that a game of 37 Newlyweds was played during Ara Resurrected.
I listened several times to Ara Resurrected played on 16/12 and I find absolutely no trace of 37 Newlyweds, neither before nor after the drum solo.
You may have spotted a musical phase that eluded me.

The only thing that I don’t think is fair is the 2° piece that you claim to be «Old Maps».
This 2° piece played on 16/12 does not correspond to «Old Maps».

Personally through my comparisons, I found nothing. But as Tigran improvises a lot on stage, some songs are very far from what is put on CDs.

Do you have the recording of that concert?
Have you had a opportunity to listen to this 2° track carefully?

It’s not about whether you’re right or wrong. It’s about getting the right information.
When you don’t know or you’re not sure you put @unknow on setlist.fm
I would much prefer that the name of this 2° piece be found.

Last point:
The 1° piece (Levitation 21) really begin until after 02:37 of a piano solo to which is linked «Levitation 21».
Do you have any idea if it’s a separate piece?
And if so, which one ?

I am waiting for your answer before making the corrections on Setlist.fm.

Thank you

Alain

Thank you for coming back.
If you attended these concerts of 15 and 16, it is useful to report it (you did well for the one of 18/07/2021 in Gent)
I will soon have the opportunity to listen to the recording of this concert of 16/12 and this will be the opportunity to check if the tracks you wrote match.
Anyway, he’s missing from your song name list. There were not 8 pieces played but 9 and maybe even 10 because for the 1° recall, it seems to me that 2 pieces were played.
I will see that when I listen.

Tigran Hamasyan Trio Flagey 16/12/2022

Good morning,

I’m surprised that you put the names of the songs when you don’t mention having attended the concert.

In addition, why do you delete the names of the musicians in the additional information?

I look forward to your explanations
