creating this thread to discuss the concert and setlist organization..
Here's what has been confirmed:
The show is now starting at 7:15 ET on 12/12/12.
the following artists are playing 45 minute sets:
The Who
Kanye West
Roger Waters
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Paul McCartney
Billy Joel
the following artists will be guesting at various points during the show…
Eddie Vedder
Dave Grohl
Bon Jovi
Alicia Keys
Chris Martin
Sean “Diddy” Combs
?? The Rolling Stones ???
It is unclear how the Stones fit in to this but you have to figure that they get a least a few songs on their own if not a full 45 minutes. Please do not create separate setlists for the guest artists noted above.

UPDATED:
The following artists will all play roughly 45-minute sets:
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (slated to open the show)
Roger Waters (with Eddie Vedder guesting)
The Who
Billy Joel
Kanye West
Paul McCartney (slated to close the show)
The following artists will appear as guests:
Alicia Keys
Jon Bon Jovi (unclear if the whole band will be present)
Eddie Vedder
Dave Grohl (possibly performing with Krist Novoselic & Paul McCartney)
Alicia Keys
Chris Martin
Sean “Diddy” Combs
It does not note in any press if The Rolling Stones and/or Eric Clapton will perform their own sets or as guest artists. I believe there is no way the Stones simply “guest”. They have moved the show up earlier (now starting at 7:30) to give them time I believe. And my guess is that Eric Clapton guests with someone and does not perform his own set. But that is purely speculation. It should be a great show indeed.

ok now this is getting weird:
“Paul McCartney will close out tonight's 12-12-12 Sandy benefit concert by performing with “Dave Grohl and Friends” as well as Diana Krall, according to an official rundown of the show.”
