The Who Announce 2019 "MOVING ON!" North American Tour

The Pinball Wizards are back! The Who have revealed their first tour in two years for summer and fall 2019, dubbed the MOVING ON! Tour. The tour is set to kick off on May 7th in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will share the stage with orchestras at marquee venues along the way! They'll wrap up the first leg of the tour on June 1st in Toronto and pick things back up in the fall, kicking those dates off on September 6th in St. Paul, Minnesota and concluding October 23rd in Edmonton.
“The Who are touring again in 2019.  Roger christened this tour Moving On! I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all.  Are you ready?" - Pete Townshend
The Who will also release their first album of new songs in more than a DOZEN years! 73-year-old Townshend states that fans can expect of the new album: “dark ballads, heavy rock stuff, experimental electronica, sampled stuff and Who-ish tunes that began with a guitar that goes yanga-dang.”

The Who: Moving On!
The Who's most performed songs to date include some their most notable work: "Won't Get Fooled Again," "My Generation," "Pinball Wizard," "I Can't Explain," and "Behind Blue Eyes." As mentioned before, this time around the icons will be accompanied by a full orchestra. Frontman Roger Daltrey assures fans:
Be aware Who fans! Just because it's The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete and I deliver our music. This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on.”
Tickets will go one sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 18th at LiveNation.com. Full dates are listed below!
