Exploring the Songs on Swae Lee's 2020 Runaway Tour Setlists!

Swae Lee, one half of the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd, is supporting Post Malone on his Runaway Tour.

The trek began in Tacoma, Washington in September 2019, and is scheduled to wrap up in Stockholm, Sweden in June 2020, after visiting a slew of cities in North America and Europe.

Known for his infectious hooks and melodies, Swae Lee has become a highly sought out feature. The 26-year-old has collaborated with the likes of Madonna, Ellie Goulding, Drake and Travis Scott. In his words, he "ain't got no type!"

On tour, he's been treating fans to a mixture of features, solo material and Rae Sremmurd hits from over the years. Take a look at one of his recent setlists:

"Hopeless Romantic"

"Hopeless Romantic" was the third single released ahead of Wiz Khalifa's sixth studio album Rolling Papers 2 in 2018.

Swae Lee delivers the catchy hook, "My night runs into morning all the time/And through my phone I'm scrolling, band my line/Off the drink it's hard to focus/Seems like I'm always chosen by romantics that are hopeless."

On this tour, Swae usually performs the song second, after "Swang." It's one of his most-played songs as a solo artist, having been played live 39 times!

"R.I.P Screw"

Swae teams up with Travis Scott on this ASTROWORLD track, lending his melodic prowess to the intro and first verse.

"R.I.P Screw" is the third collaboration between the pair, who previously worked on Scott's 2015 Rodeo song "Nightcrawler" and Rae Sremmurd's 2018 SR3MM song "Close."

The song pays homage to the late Houston hip hop legend DJ Screw. On tour, Swae performs the song between "Throw Sum Mo" and "Unforgettable."

"Black Beatles"

I think we can all agree the one of the things that got us through the ring of hell that was 2016 was the Mannequin Challenge.

The viral video craze consisted of people standing frozen (like mannequins) while a moving camera panned the room, with Rae Sremmurd's song "Black Beatles" playing in the background.

On the track, Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane compare themselves to the ACTUAL Beatles, boasting about their rock star lifestyles. It was no surprise when Macca himself proved to be a fan ... with a Mannequin Challenge of his own!

"When you’ve reached a real Beatle, it’s the ultimate co-sign," Swae said.

"It’s like dang, respect. We reached a real Beatle and it’s crazy. And the fact that he said 'Love those black Beatles,' it’s crazy."

The song became Rae Sremmurd's first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Guatemala"

This cut is from Swaecation, the Swae Lee portion of Rae Sremmurd's SR3MM triple album. He teased the song to fans as the sequel to "Unforgettable," his collab with French Montana.

The music video was filmed in Guatemala right before the country's deadly volcanic eruption in 2018. Rae Sremmurd donated $10,000 to Red Cross relief efforts to support those affected by the devastation, and encouraged their fans to donate as well.
