Simple Creatures Announces Debut Tour!

Just two months after surprise-announcing their new project and dropping singles "Drug" and "Strange Love," Simple Creatures is heading out on their first tour at the end of this month!

The pop-punk supergroup consists of Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth, both frontmen of their respective bands, who call Simple Creatures a production of "trash pop."

Growing up as a huge fan of Blink-182, Alex and his All Time Low bandmates have befriended the men of Blink over the years, and even opened up for them on tour two years ago.

After fighting a bout of depression through a new experiment with musical creativity, Hoppus ended up in the studio with long-time friend Gaskarth. Though he originally intended to make an album collaborating with many friends, he knew he and Gaskarth had a magical musical connection and instead formed Simple Creatures.

"Embracing new recording techniques and processes, we broke songs down to their barest bones and rebuilt them into musical Frankenstein monsters,” said Hoppus.
"It’s sort of landing somewhere between a rock show and an EDM hip-hop show!"

The five-date long tour will coincide with the March 29th release of their debut EP, Strange Love. They'll kick off with the band's very first show in Los Angeles on the eve of the EP dropping, and will conclude in London.

Seeing as it took only two minutes to sell out both the San Francisco and Los Angeles shows, it's safe to say this tour is greatly anticipated by fans both of Gaskarth and Hoppus.

Fans of their main bands can next check out Blink-182 at the Back to the Beach Fest in Huntington Beach, California at the end of April, and All Time Low will next be performing at the Slam Dunk Festival in the UK during May.
