Nothing sounds better than escaping the winter cold for a tropical, resort vacation, especially if Dead & Co will be there, (John Mayer in tow) to play all the best Grateful Dead jams for three whole days in a row! If this sounds like a dream, it's not, it's an actual event that takes place in the beautiful Riviera Maya in Mexico called "Playing in the Sand concert vacation."
This will actually be their second year in a row playing the event. It will feature the supergroup performing for three days in a row, January 17th to 20th (2019), on a stage just feet away from the Caribbean Sea.

Dead & Co recently wrapped up a summer tour, and the only other date they have slated for this year is Lock'n Festival in Arrington, Virginia on August 25th and 26th. That means the concert vacation shows will be the group's first after five months, so Deadheads may want to start planning out their vacation like, now.
You don't have to sulk in a Dead & Co gap too hard though, because Bob Weir will be embarking on a tour in the fall, playing Grateful Dead tracks with his new trio Wolf Bros. Check out those dates below!
