Dance Gavin Dance have embarked on their highly awaited Afterburner Tour. The U.S. trek marks the band's first live shows in support of their new album Afterburner, which was released during quarantine on April 24, 2020 via Rise Records. The tour which features support from Polyphia, Veil of Maya, Eidola and Wolf and Bear, kicked off September 7 at Portland, Oregon's McMenamins Crystal Ballroom. The shows are set to wrap up October 20 at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas.

Dance Gavin Dance's tour kickoff setlist opened with "Prisoner" from their ninth full-length studio album Afterburner, performed for the first time in a live setting. Additional in-person live debuts included "Lyrics Lie." "One In a Million," "Parody Catharsis," "Strawberry's Wake," and "Nothing Shameful."
