“Something Just Like This” is a collaboration released on February 22, 2017, as the second single from the Chainsmokers debut album, Memories…Do Not Open, and as the lead single of Coldplay's thirteenth extended play, Kaleidoscope EP. Coldplay and the Chainsmokers live debuted “Something Just Like This” on stage at the Brit Awards at The O2 Arena in London, England on the same day it was released.

The English adaptation was written by Paul Anka in 1968 who gave it to Frank Sinatra – but also recorded his own version later on.

The Portuguese adaptation (which mantains its English title and chorus) was written by Marcelo Nova and first released by his band Camisa de Vênus on the 1986 live album “Viva”.
