On the night it was mostly good, but there was a permitted attendance of 16,000 rather than the 23,000 and some sections were offered an upgrade FoC as the band wanted the closer seats filled. However, they couldn't organise it in time and so if you were in that queue it was a lot of standing around for nothing. As you'd expect, the refreshments are expensive and they had not installed the water dispensers. Went last night and it was better. Very quick and easy to get in, water dispensers installed, sound quality good. Have only sat on the top tier and, depending where you are the screens are obstructed, but overall it is a very good arena for concerts. Unsure if it was needed in Manchester though as there is already a perfectly serviceable one there and other areas in the UK are devoid of one.
