Hi Bruce- the show was solo and very good! I believe this entire tour is solo (based on what I read at cockburnproject.net, which does a really good job of collecting Cockburn-based information). He plays a 6 string, 12-string, resonator guitar and one song on the dulcimer. He seemed quite happy to be playing music in front of people and was very warm and gregarious throughout the show. His playing and singing were spot on as well. Hope this helps!

Thanks Bruce. I caught that the other day when I was trying to find evidence of those medley songs I couldn't find. Lots of good clips from that video poster ceccailif that go back decades in Van's career. I like that it was recorded just last month, and it is a live performance without seeing them from so far away. I'm considering getting his live performance recorded in Belfast released a few years ago, Up on Cyprus Avenue.

Bruce, Thanks for the compliment. I prep before all concerts I go to by copying and pasting recent setlists from here and taking the pages with me. There is no way I would have figured out those medleys without recording. Even now, I still don't know if a couple of those listed medley songs are really songs. I'm 64, and I know I would not be able to remember them. I thoroughly enjoyed Van Morrison. You are right he still sounds fantastic. Hard to believe he is 76. I hope to see him again. Take care. TK
