Phil Collins was in fine voice from the start of the show which was remarkable as due to back surgery he had to sing while seated. Kudos to Mr. Collins for being a real trooper of a performer. While a few more Genesis songs would have been nice the setlist was a nice valedictory of Collins' career. A truly memorable evening for what may or may not have been a farewell tour. The only downside of the evening was the obnoxious and boorish behavior of the individuals sitting in Row 6 of Section 212. Both the males and females acted in such a crude manner that several people left before the end of the show as they had had enough.

When Paul Simon started the show with "America" his voice didn't have the power or timbre that I remembered from past shows. As the night continued, however, he seemed to gain power and energy from a very appreciative audience to where he was singing with the smoothness of the veteran performer who is truly enjoying his craft. If this is truly his last tour Chicago was rewarded with a memorable farewell performance.

U2 knows how to do arenas with a great visual stage and special effects. It was disappointing that such hits as "Where the Streets Have No Names," "New Year's Day" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" did not make the setlist for this tour.
