I just listened to Only One and I really like it! Walker isn't country, I think I'd describe his music as folk? He has a lot of lighthearted and silly songs. My favorites are Cooter the Dog and Fish Don't Jump, and then Alabama I Am Bound for a more serious favorite.
This will be my first time with floor seats so I'm excited! We'll see if I end up liking it. I have pink hair so I'm fairly easy to spot lol, so you may end up seeing me.
I just saw Em Beihold last night and she was great! It feels like it's been so long since I was at a concert (besides the Walker Burroughs house show) so it was great to be there. I made the wonderful choice to work on Tuesday (7am-4:15pm), then drive about 2 hours to see the show, drive the 2 hours home, and then work today (7am-5:30pm). I was exhausted today, but luckily my kids have a quiet/nap hour so I got a "nap" (didn't actually fall asleep fully but almost) and I had much more energy in the afternoon. And our games kept me on my feet and moving the whole day. We played soccer and basketball and a game similar to just dance and we had to make lunch while skating on bean bags because the floor was lava. I think being super active helped me not feel as tired thankfully. I can't wait to move to Nashville so I have all the concerts close by and I won't have to drive a few hours for them anymore.
I'll be seeing Ella Red two more times this year! I've decided to drive up to Indianapolis (about 6 hours) to see her in August with a friend, and then she'll be opening for VOILÀ in November so I'll (hopefully, the tickets go on sale on Friday) be seeing her in Nashville then! Very excited to see her again.
Understandable, Winona is a very large part of why I'm going too, love 'em. Sarah and the Safe Word is the local opener in ATL I think -- they're great! Saw them headline a year ago, hopefully you like them.
just one show haha that artist plays in florida EVERY year so they schedule it well in advance! You gotta get scheduling stuff for July dude!! Go to the Summer School tour (well, it's june 27, close enough) https://www.setlist.fm/upcoming/honey-revenge/2026/buckhead-theatre-atlanta-ga-b48f1fa.html
I don't know Yellowcard, but that's great! I hate when I learn about an artist after they've just toured near me. I've only had to cancel on one concert so far this year, because of the ice storm in January. I've been to 6 concerts so far this year. 30 in one year sounds great! I haven't really kept track of how many I went to in one year, but I have been to 30 concerts total I think. I've done the same with standing for the performances and sitting in between and it definitely helps some!
It turns out I'll also be seeing Alex Warren in Atlanta! One of my friends said he would buy me concert tickets as a graduation present, and I was expecting the cheapest tickets up at the top of the arena, but he bought floor tickets!! I'm very excited.
I'm also going to a house show later this month, which I am both in excited and nervous for. It'll be a new experience for me. I'll be seeing Walker Burroughs.
Totally forgot to respond! Been very busy with school and babysitting. I'm graduating next month!!
I love visiting bands at merch tables after their performance! I try to do so every time I can. I'm going to have to try that, I'm very tired of being in pain all the time.
That's so interesting that you've only been to one out of state concert! Perks of living in a city with a lot of concert venues I guess. I've only ever had two in state concerts. Three after tonight. And most of those aren't even in my city, and the one that was in my city was while I was living in a different state so I had to drive a few hours for it anyways.
I love As December Falls and Florence + The Machine! I'm also going to see Em Beihold! In Nashville though. I also love Alex Warren and 5SOS. You've got a great lineup!
I see Autumn Kings is opening for Melrose Avenue in Chicago in a few weeks, maybe I'll check that show out. Was Melrose any good?
I got tickets pretty short notice to see Thursday in birmingham! I'm really excited.
Yeah, really the main difference is just that Sad Summer chose to market themselves as a fest lol
Since it's presented as a tour and not a festival, I don't think you should do that at all. Just add the tour name to each individual setlist like normal. (But for future reference, you would need to create a separate festival instance for each date on the tour, you can't put them all together.)
Sometimes with my dad (we both like road trips), sometimes alone, sometimes with friends, it really varies. Definitely motels, I don't have the cash or space for an rv LOL. I say go for it, three days grace is worth it! Seems like a cool tour idea, the Haunt should be fun. I almost saw them once but ended up having to work </3
PEGGY opened for Ella, and she and her keyboardist Sarah actually recognized me at the Atlanta show too. I was definitely nervous the first time I talked to Ella but now I'm just excited every time. I really love when openers stand at the merch table after the show so I can go and talk to them. I've had some great conversations with artists. I don't know how I keep sane either tbh. Just lots of practice I guess. And on top of driving to concerts, I drive back home from school every Thursday and to school every Sunday, which is about 2 and a half hours each way. I'll start driving to school a few minutes after this message sends lol. I also have chronic pain which is made worse by driving which is,, fun. I go to a chiropractor weekly to try and help. Plus I use heating pads pretty often, and the heated seat in my car sometimes helps. Hopefully I'll be living in Nashville soon enough and won't have to drive hours to concerts anymore. I'll probably be less likely to drive hours and hours to different cities if I know I can just wait and whoever it is will probably be in Nashville at some point.
You've never been to Nashville?! I love Nashville. Not that I've really explored much of the city, but I see all these cool places online I want to go to, and I've been to several concert venues. One day I really want to go to the aquarium restaurant, it looks so fun and I love aquariums.
I love Neoni, I'll definitely have to ask Ella to open for them. Those all sound like fun! I don't know all of them but I like the artists I do know that you're seeing. I only have 4 more concerts planned for this year so far. I'm seeing Conan Gray yet again in Atlanta on Friday, and then also in Atlanta I'm seeing Chrissy Chlapecka the next Tuesday, and then the next Saturday is Ella Red in Dallas, and then in April I'm seeing The Crane Wives (with Lilith Max opening!). I don't currently have a stable job so that'll probably have to be it until after May when I graduate.
Of course I love her music, and her live shows are incredible, but what I really love about her is how she interacts with fans. I met her last February in Atlanta, and then met her in Dallas in June (her concert there lined up with visiting family nearby perfectly so I decided to go while I was in town), and she saw me and immediately recognized me and asked if I was at the Atlanta concert. She has remembered me every time since then that I've met her, she knows my username on social media platforms, we interact online a fair amount. And I know I'm not the only fan who she recognizes. And during her concerts she interacts with fans, which I love. She is just so sweet and such a good person. Plus aestheticlly, we dress very similar which makes dressing up to see her super easy and fun. I went to both Nashville and Atlanta! I definitely struggled a lot doing back to back concerts like that, especially since I had to drive a lot for them both. I think I drove a total of 16 hours this weekend, since I currently live in Mississippi for college. It was definitely worth it though! I can't wait to see her in Dallas. She told me that I'll love the outfit she wears for that show so I'm very excited. She has plans to tour wherever she can once she finds people to open for, so I'm sure she'll be back soon enough!
Which 3 concerts do you have back to back? That sounds like a lot of fun but a bit stressful lol. Hopefully it goes well!!
Yeah it was PACKED, totally sold out show! I'm so happy for them =) Yep I drove all the way down (and hit foxy in Nashville on my way back up)! I don't mind road tripping and it's almost always cheaper than a flight.
My summer is definitely shaping up to be pretty awesome so far. I'm very excited for all my Here Come the Mummies dates, they're becoming one of my favorite bands to see live! They're not for everybody but you should check out their song "Pants" to see what they're like.
Aw I wanted to go to that Beauty School Dropout tour but the Chicago show was yesterday (the same night I got home from my Foxy trip) so there's no way I could've made it. Hope it's fun! I heard Nightbreakers is pretty good too. Is Hollow Crown a band, or a tour name? I don't think I've heard of them before
Wasn't foxy such a cool show? I went in near completely blind to how they were like live, and now I wanna go again!!
Yes, that was me in the front row on the left! They haven't played Welcome to the Church since 2022 so you might be out of luck there. And the cigarette eating is kinda one of his trademarks haha
That's exciting! I just got home from my first concert this year! I also had to miss a concert in January. I saw Ella Red tonight and it was hands down the best concert I've ever been to.
What did you think of Foxy?! Crazy setlist!!
I almost went to the headliner, but it was in the middle of finals for me, and I wasn't living in Atlanta when the Sad Summer Fest happened. :( Definitely would make more of an effort to see them in the future though!
Thank you! And yeah Dallas is far, but I'm going to a concert in Atlanta during my spring break so I'm flying from there to Dallas after that concert, and I have family there that I'll stay with for a few days. So I get to see Ella and visit with family that I don't get to see too often!
I'm planning on being a nanny/family assistant for my career. So I don't actually need my degree, but it is nice to have.
Alabama would be closer to you, wouldn't it? I've been to the Orion Amphitheater a couple of times (one concert, and a pride event) and it's a nice venue, I really like it. Plus free parking right there which is always nice. And I've been to the Bridgestone Arena once and it was alright. The show I went to started earlier than planned due to weather but the doors opened at the original planned time and there was 30 minutes between doors opening and the opener going on. I was pretty close to the beginning and after getting in and getting food (food line was very short— took only a couple of minutes to get my food) I sat down during the opener's last song.

I haven't heard of Ike Dweck but I do like folk music so I'll have to check them out! Thank you, I'm very excited about the move. Also nervous because I'll be moving out of my parents house and it'll be my first time paying bills and I'll be in a city without any family, but mostly excited.
I got tickets for the Nashville VOILÀ show! I'm so excited. I haven't heard of Weathers and No Love For The Middle Child, but I'll definitely be listening to them both soon since I'll be seeing them live. That show will be my 8th time seeing Ella and my 2nd time seeing VOILÀ. I love going back to artists I've already seen before.
