Renfro Valley seems to be a decent place for a show. It holds about 1500, free parking and sight lines are all good. I moved here two years ago and was surprised to find a place like that in the middle of almost nowhere. It gets lots of country artists, but it seems that some older Hard Rock artists show up as well- Warrant and Lita Ford are coming in November. By the way-I wouldn't recommend seeing Don Dokken-he can barely move and could not sing-he pretty much just talked out the lyrics while the bass player sang the high notes. Cheers!

Yes, all respite that Van Halen blew away Sabbath in '78...Ozzy, Inc. were still in the throws of demise and rugs...Van Halen was eager and hungry and only on the surface of their addictions. AC/DC and Ted Nugent were also in their prime. - with their various vices... history would prove future proves past - AC/DC would lose their singer to alcohol and Ted would lose his entire fortune to greedy SOBs.

Trying to catch up...acknowledge to any who wrote here. All in agreement! Thanks

AMEN - Saw the same shows too...parents would not let me go to the Zeppelin and WHO show in Cincy...so, yes; I'm alive...but then THEY had to make it up to me,,,,SO I saw 20 shows in 20 months...Published ALL here on Setlist.

Hi jcarico,
Sorry for the late reply! Didn't notice your (old) comment on my profile before. Foghat may well have been at Hara in 1980. I kept most of my concert ticket stubs, but probably lost a few here and there. Same with Journey. Not really sure. Sorry!
