Maroon 5 Wrap 2020 Latin America Tour Early - See Highlights

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues, event organizers for music festivals and concerts are being forced to postpone or cancel scheduled events.

Because of these concerns, Maroon 5 had to suspend two upcoming shows, halting their 2020 tour until the North American leg picks up in May. The lengthy trek began February 23rd in Mexico City and is scheduled to conclude on September 17th in Tampa.

The band was scheduled to perform yesterday, March 12th at Campo Argentino de Polo in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Saturday, March 14th at Parque Saltire Magico in Bagota, Colombia.

"We are saddened to hear the news and sorry to announce that in accordance with recent restrictions ordered by the local governments, the Maroon 5 shows in Argentina and Colombia have been suspended," Maroon 5 wrote on Twitter.

"The safety and well-being of fans, employees, and all personnel is always our top priority," the tweet continued. "We are sorry to disappoint our fans and promise to come back to perform for you."

Right now, it's unclear whether more of Maroon 5's concerts will be postponed or canceled, but you can stay up to date by following the band on Twitter or by heading to their website.

In the meantime...

"Here's to the ones that we got / 'Cause these [tour highlights] will bring back all the memories / Of everything [Maroon 5 and the fans] have been through."

February 23 – Mexico City, Mexico

Ahh, the good ole days.

Maroon 5 kicked off their 2020 Tour on February 23rd at Foro Sol in Mexico City, and it was one for the books! They performed a 22-song setlist complete with a three-song encore, and performed "Won't Go Home Without You" for the first time since 2014! The last time they played it was on their Overexposed World Tour – check out THAT throwback setlist!

They also played their popular new song "Memories" and favorites like "Payphone," "Animals" and "Sugar."

February 28 – Santiago, Chile

We love Maroon 5 here at Setlist.fm because they're always switching up their live shows!

At Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida in Santiago, Chile, they opened with "This Love" and switched around the order of songs like "What Lovers Do," "Sunday Morning" and "Harder to Breathe" on the setlist.

The band also included the song "Lost Stars" in the encore, which Adam Levine performed for the 2013 film "Begin Again." Maroon 5 has only played that song live 59 times! According to our Setlist data, the first time they played it was way back when on their Maroon V Tour (check out that setlist).

March 10 – Montevideo, Uruguay

Maroon 5 played their last show at Estadio Centenario in Uruguay.

This time, they added "Won't Go Home Without You" to the encore, wedged between "Memories" and "She Will Be Loved," before ultimately closing with "Girls Like You."
