On the evening of August 26, 2004, rock band Jimmy Eat World kicked off their Futures tour at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. They opened the show with the live debut of the album's title track, a few months ahead of the October release date.
Mid-set the band live debuted melodic single, "Work," which would become their most-performed Futures track to date. They played five songs off Futures in total, two of which had debuted in November of 2003. See that setlist here.
Jimmy Eat World wrapped up the main set with their #1 most-performed song to date, "The Middle." They kicked off their 3-song encore with the live debut of "Pain."
