re: Artist name vs Stage/Character name. It's so rare there isn't a specific Guideline, but the important thing is to be consistent across setlists.

Site examples:
KISS - we use Artist name (Ace Frehley), but use Character name for a rare description such as "Frehley's last performance in Spaceman makeup"

GHOST
We use the character names: Papa Emeritus instead of the artist name (Tobias Forge). Example: "Cardinal Copia is inaugurated officially as Papa Emeritus IV"

Gorillaz
We use Artist name Damon, not the character name 2-D/Staurt Pot. If a video/tape shows Murdoc (character) we use in the info note "Murdoc surfing video (tape), if Seye Adelekan who performs Murdoc's music live, does something noteworthy, we'd use Artist name "Seye Adelekan breaks leg jumping over speaker".

How does the press handle describing band members in show reviews? That guided the choice for the above examples and seems like a good guide.

You could start a Forum topic.' The Living Tombstone character name vs artist name". State your opinion, invite other The Living Tombstone editors/users to to give their opinions. Once consensus is reached, link to the forum topic when editing setlists to format consistently.

Hey. If you ever see a user removing medleys without a source (and the medleys are sourced/correct), please alert a mod or roadie. Chances are the user is doing that on multiple setlists, and we can intervene.

Some users seem to think it "looks better" to list the medley songs individually, but that's not how we format the site. Thanks for finding so many sources!
