Hello Peter,
Apologies for the late reply to your inquiry about Genesis' show in The Hague on 16 June 1976. I only noticed your message two days ago and the had to do some searching.
I can't remember a thing about the concert itself, but I did keep the ticket. Not that it would be of any importance to you, since it is a generic ticket. It doesn't mention the band name, or the name of the venue. i can send you a photo though, if you're still interested. Just let me know how you want to receive it, by e-mail or by WhatsApp.
Then the matter of how many shows there were on that day. I found the answer through the media search site Delpher.nl. It appears there were indeed two shows, one beginning at 19h and one at 22h. Both were organised as part of the Holland Festival. I can send you the article link as well.
Best regards,
Swie

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your message about the Genesis gig in The Hague on 16 June 1976. But I'm afraid that I can't help you. It was indeed long ago, and the only thing that I distinctly remember is that I was extremly impressed. Whether or not there were two shows on that date, I don't know. And I didn't keep my ticket, unfortunately.

Cheers,
René

Hello Peter ... greetings ... the Lakeland Florida Genesis concert was wonderful and in the intimate setting of the Lakeland Civic Center Theater. I am guessing there was , maybe, 500 fans in attendance. The band was fabulous. There is a bootleg on the internet, but the quality is not so good. Cheers Peter!

Hello,
The two Lamb shows I saw (both in my top ten all time favorite concerts) occurred on November 22 in Indianapolis, Indiana and November 29 in Fort Wayne, Indiana (the venue listed on Setlist is incorrect. It took place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne). I had not heard the album at the time of the first show but had the album at least a couple days before the second show. So, my best guess is it was released during that week between those shows. I hope that helps.
bis spater,
Kevin Krieg

The date on Wikipedia for the release in the US is Nov 18 1974. I’m in Canada so I really can’t say much about the US release. All I can remember and keep in mind this is approaching 50!years ago, that the concert I was at in Toronto was December 16th and it was cold… On the street corners there were people handing out pamphlets that were actually the liner notes from the inside of the album. No one I knew at the time had the album so this was the first experience for me with the Lamb.

I now have tickets to see the Musical Box perform the Lamb Lies Down in Kitchener On. Next April and I can hardly wait. They use the same slide show and many of the same props. It will be a show to remember.
