did they play the talisman at this show?
I hope it, Sam. In my opinion the best track of the new album.
Hmmm, I see their switching songs around.
Ahhh well, I still think that this is a pretty awesome setlist. If they end up taking out 'The Talisman', 'Dance of Death' or 'The Evil That Men Do' in later shows, I shall be really pissed.
switch blood brothers with powerslave throw in heaven can wait between fear of the dark and iron maiden then switch running free with sanctuary
that would be a fuckin good setlist
So did they play Doctor Doctor to open? Its listed but not really there
Doctor Doctor was from the soundboard but for some reason they played it a lot louder than the other warm up songs so everyone thought Maiden was behind the curtain starting. After a minute it was clear it was just a crowd warm up.
A question, was is copied exactly from the page of Moscow's concert or is just a coincidence?
Up the Irons!!
Not a coincidence, Maiden usually plays nearly the same setlist throughout their tours - last time all they did was switch out Dance of Death and Paschendale
I've never understood why Blood Brothers is there. The only Maiden song I don't like.
Exchange it to anything else.:)
5 tracks only from new album?? Where are the man who be kings, starblind, and isle of avalon??
Hope they drop in Wrathchild for the Sydney show next Thursday. That would be fucken Epic. But that setlist has a good mix with LOTS of old stuff 11 through 16 will just fucken lift off man! I'm happy with it all basically.
Blood Brothers has a deep meaning when it's coupled by the short speech Bruce makes before the song kicks in. Very relevant with us Asian crowd. Changing DOD with Paschendale would've been awesome tho.
Otherwise very balanced set list. 8 songs post Brave New World. 8 songs pre Brave New World. Nothing from Blaze Bayley.
where : caught somewhere in time, flash of the blade, aces high ??? T_T
Blood Brothers is one of Maiden's best songs. Personally I couldn't be happier with this setlist :)
I agree with a comment above - 5 tracks from the new album, but doesn't include Starblind or Isle of Avalon. Guess this shows what a good album it is...
I really can't understand those people who wants Wrathchild in the set list...
Crappy song, played for 30 years...
The only weak point of this set list is that there's nothing from AMOLAD.
I would drop out "The Trooper" or "2 Minutes To Midnight" to make place to "The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg"
Pesonaly I think the setlist is to die for, they cud switch out El Dorado with maybe Man who would be king or Mother of Mercy. Not cuz I dont like it I love El Dorado but I heard it last yr in concert..but it got a grammy for best live metal preformance..ha up those IRoNz ed heads!
The show was just fucking amazing, it was the first ever time i've seen Maiden live and it was simply purely fucking amazing.
Personally, i would have loved to have heard 'afraid to shoot strangers' or 'sign of the cross' but its' fucking Maiden! You never complain about them!
Wrath_Child i totally agree with that, Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg was the one song i hoped like hell the kept from the previous setlist. AMOLAD is such an underrated maiden album! weve had the classics show, now lets make way for new live experiences!
I was there!!! It was a night to remember!! Great setlist, fucking amazing show!!
yea AMOLAD was so underrated, I saw em live in Hartford 06 they done the whole album from start to finish, it was fucking electric! It needs to hurry up an be April thou Im goin on the IMFC Trip to Florida. Ill see both shows in the pit with FTTB wrist bands! HAHA the wild winds gonna blow..Beast over Florida!
I was at the show in Singapore on Tuesday night, and it rocked for the most part, apart from the almost 20 minutes taken up with When The Wild Wind Blows and The Talisman. Rest of the set was good, solid musicianship and finally the best version of Running Free I have seen.
A very vocal 12,000 strong crowd who sang like muthaf**kas to every song made it a great night!!!
yes it was amazing to see Maiden in Singapore. The crowd was fantastic. Bruce says the audience could have been back in London with Maiden. He also mentioned about the Muslim Maiden fans and he dont care what religion, race, creed as long as we're all Maiden fans.

you know what??
is the same shit with Iron Maiden there were great a couple decades ago the las album was shit this set list is shit I already got the ticket for mty mx show and when I saw this setl list the first thing thta cross my mind was resell it this awful setlist does not worth I was expecting something more and I feel the only people happy with this set list is band itself
Edgar, you know what?
You're the shit. This set-list is awesome, The Final Frontier is awesome! IRON MAIDEN I LOVE YOU AND YOUR SETLIST!
Dude, how can you even call yourself a maiden fan with that banter? the setlist says to me that they are doing their best to cater for their fans across the board with a good mix of old and new, and playing the majority of the songs they are purely expected to play. I honestly believe if they decided fuck the fans we play what we want they would play the new album right through and thats it. which btw, would be awesome.
Please keep the 2010 and 2011 tours separate. There's a huge (six month) gap between them and they both have very different setlists.
Were is revelations ?
But after all a beautiful setlist
