shitty, shitty setlist 21 songs for stadium gig. No poll songs and I belong to you was dropped!!! worst setlist in the history of MUSE imo......

1. Plug In Baby and Hysteria were both in the top 5 for this gig.
2. They played Back In Black.
3. The gig isn't even over yet, they may play something else.
4. All reports say that they are playing brilliantly.
5. Their setlists from earlier in the year are far worse than this one.
6. Don't put the word Muse all in capitals.

2. I prefer I belong to you to a cover, seeing as we already had feeling good as the cover.
3. We got NSC, GL, FG, UD, resistance, Starlight, Unintended which are all cheese fests.

7. as this is a stadium gig it should be much longer (and I prefer the earlier year setlists as for an arena they were nearer acceptible.
8. Earlier in the year Dead Star, B&H, Bliss, CE, RBS and sunburn all got the lucky appearance and cave was regular.
9. I never said they were playing badly or that it was a terrible gig, I said it was a terrible setlist.
10. I think Stade de Swiss had a more balanced setlist - 3 piano songs - so better.
11. The festival sets at the moment have more good songs in and they only play 16 songs there.

9. I agree that the setlist is not as good as it could be, but some American dates earlier in the year got 16 songs including GL and FG and other cheeses you mention.

Ughh fans are never satisfied, personally I love the new version of Unintended and the band actually listened to you all and brought back TAB due to popular demand (not the poll forums but they actually looked at fan sites), AND you got some Origin songs and even a Showbiz song, yet you still complain, seriously..

I was there last night, in S.Siro, and I can tell honestly it was one of the greatest moments in my life. The band was stunning, the music perfect, Matt had a few theatratical moments, there was an UFO (!) (fake obviously but very shocking), and the setlist was very good indeed. Now, I bet you, arrogant as you are, can't understand such things dear fb:10000blabla, but in Italy we have a difficult relationship with the organization of such big rock events (and unluckily it doesn't depend on us fans) so, meaning the context, tonight Muse gave us a beautiful gift of pure rock music, and I think they're truly the first real rock band to overcome the bad taste in music of our country and have such an astonishing response from the people, even to fill a stadium (1st time in history), not even to mention the scenes, that were amazing, even more than the ones on the HAARP tour.. So Matt knows about all the fact, they played more than brilliantly, we all knew about that, and in all these senses it was really a night to remember. If you don't succed in understanding this, I think you'd better do yourself a favour and insult something else. Btw the setlist was that short due to a municipal restriction which imposed them to end the gig at the latest at 11:30 PM (and even being shorter than the ones in other countries, for us it was very long).

ok looking through the set over and over.. How could you nerdy people can complain about it? All the most desireable songs and 2h30 of great music..

I agree with all you said apart from the bit about the most desireable songs, they could have cut GL and FG and replaced them with Bliss and Butterflies and Hurricanes (or similar). And he isn't being nerdy by complaining...

Desirable is indeed a relative concept, and the nerdy thing wasn't meant to you ;)
