U2 are kicking off their highly-anticipated eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tour will stretch across North American and then Europe all the way through November 2018. The Irish rockers have a lot in store for fans during the tour. The high-tech performers are urging fans to download the U2 Experience App prior to the shows so that they can experience Bono in AR (Augmented Reality.)

The digital experience will have fans interacting with their smartphones in more ways than just recording videos and taking photos. They'll need to hold their phones up against a 80-foot long double-sided LCD screen on stage in order to see superimposed images and videos that are meant to enhance their concert experience.
